East Don River Nature Walk

We are pleased to announce that Phil Goodwin, Field Naturalist and founder of East Don Parkland, will be leading a ‘Nature Walk’ on 27th April, 2013 for the Dallington Pollinators.
Description: The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness of the natural habitat surrounding the East Don River and to look at some of the restoration work carried out by the group. 
The walk has a wellness factor inherently associated with it. Participants are encouraged to borrow pedometers from their local library to monitor their steps.The schedule will be as follows:
Date: 27th April, 2013
Meeting Place: Cummer Avenue, near North-west entrance to Park located at Snowcrest Avenue and Beardmore Crescent
Start time: 2.00 pm.

Time: 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Cost: Free
Spots available: 8
Please note that the entrance is at the Cummer Bridge. Registration  is required and we will notify you by return e-mail.
